coaches. We place an emphasis on skill instruction and player development,
while also expanding the understanding of game concepts and team

Director of LI Express Lacrosse - Girls Division |

Erin Blaney has been the Head Coach at Ward
Melville High School for 21 years. She serves
as Co-Director for the Three Village Youth Lacrosse-Girls
Division, and has been the Co-Director of the Island
Lacrosse Camp since 1998. Blaney recently was honored
with the Double Goal Award at the 2005 US Lacrosse
Convention for her involvement in both youth
and high school varsity lacrosse.
Coach Blaney was named the
- 2005 Suffolk County Coach of the Year
- 2002 Suffolk County Coach of the Year.
- Recipient of the 1996 NYS Coaches Honor Award
- Recipient of NYS Centennial Award;
- Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation Hall
of Fame inductee.

| Jen Blaney |
 |
Jen Blaney played collegiate
lacrosse at La Salle University in Philadelphia
were she was an offensive starter and team captain. She
traveled to Australia on the USA Athletes International
Team to compete in the Down Under Cup Tournament
in 2002. She has coached summer camps throughout the east
coast for the past four years. Jen is currently teaching
in the Copiague School District and coached with East
End last year. |

Christina
Esposito
|
|
Christina Esposito is currently
an assistant coach for the C.W. Post Women's
Lacrosse team, where she played for four years.
She is also a member of the Long Island Lady
Lizards. In 2004 Christina was
voted 2nd Team All-American Goalkeeper by womenslacrosse.com,
2nd Team All-Region North by IWLCA/Harrow Sports and
National Player of the Year by Inside Lacrosse. Coach
Esposito led her C.W. Post team for two years
as captain in 2005 and 2006. She currently
holds the school record for Most Career Saves
with 256 saves. At East Islip High School,
she helped capture the League II Championship in 2000,
then as a captain, was major part of the team's 22-3-4
record, during her final two seasons. |

Coach Hawkins is an Assistant
Coach for the Girls Varsity Lacrosse
Team at Ward Melville High School. He played
lacrosse at West Islip
High School and is 2002 Graduate of Cortland State
University. Coach
Hawkins is a Physical Education teacher in the Three Village
Central
School District |

| Kevin Krause |
|
Kevin Krause is currently the Head
Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach at Sachem North High School.
Prior to joining Sachem he spent time coaching in the
collegiate ranks. Krause began his career as an assistant
at NCAA Division II Limestone College, before
accepting the head coaching position at Division
I Niagara University. Coach Krause’s college
career was highlighted by being named the Metro
Atlantic Athletic Conference Coach of the Year for the
2003 Season |

| Marcie Krause |
|
Marcie Krause played collegiately
at Limestone College where she was a three year
member of Limestone's first ever lacrosse and soccer programs.
She graduated from Limestone with a degree in Elementary
Education. After moving to the Buffalo area, Marcie began
teaching in the Tonawanda School district and was the
Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at SUNY Buffalo.
She currently resides in Farmingville and teaches second
grade in Smithtown. |

| Laura Matturro |
|
Laura Matturro is currently playing
her third season at Sacred
Heart University as
a starting defender. Sacred Heart went to the
NEC playoffs in her first 2 seasons playing with
this team. She is planning on graduating this
year and continuing on at Sacred Heart for her MBA
in finance while playing a fourth season of lacrosse
in 2009.
Laura attended Smithtown High School
and played four years of lacrosse for head coach Ann
Naughton. Named team captain for the 2004
and 2005 season she was a member of the All-Tournament
team in 2005. She returns to Smithtown
yearly to assist Coach Carrie Bodo, Smithtown
West Varsity Coach, with the Booster Club lacrosse
camp. She is also a certified lacrosse
referee. |

| Alison Sekora |
|
Coach Sekora played for CW Post for
3 years and was a member of the
2001 Div II NCAA Championship team. She played for the
Long Island Lady Lizards in 2007 and is currently the Girls
Varsity Lacrosse Assistant Coach in Hicksville
School District. Alison is a Speech-Language
Pathologist working in the Hicksville School District. |

| Kate Stoehr |
|
Kate Stoehr was a four time
All-American and 1998 NCAA player of
the year while at Hartwick College. She previously
coached at both Hamilton and Utica Colleges.
Kate currently coaches at Half Hollow Hills
where she also teaches Physical Education |

| Abby Wiener |
|
Graduated from Kings Park High School
in 1997. Played 4 years of varsity soccer and 4 years
of varsity lacrosse (won 8 letters). Was Captain
of the lacrosse team in her senior year and earned
all league honors.
Attended Guilford College
in Greensboro, NC from 1997 to 2001 graduating with
a BS in Mathematics. Played 3 years of varsity soccer
(one semester spent in England) and 4 years of varsity
lacrosse earning 7 letters. Captain of the soccer team
senior year and captain of the lacrosse team
junior and senior year. Third all time ground
balls for career and fifth all time ground balls for
a season. All conference junior year.
Currently teacher at Hauppauge JHS. Coached Middle
School lax at Kings Park Middle School lax at Hauppauge
(10-0) in 2003 and JV lax at Hauppauge in 2004 and 2005
(27-3). Promoted to the assistant Varsity coach at Hauppauge
for 2006. |
